Keith Shuck

KEITH SHUCK took over as tenor after founder and charter member, John Everett, decided to retire to raise Alpacas.  Keith has done a capital job with the BLEND which is to be expected as he studied music at Capital University and is the “Exterior Sales Manager” at Capital Lighting.  Married to Cheryle for over 35 years, Keith has sung in many choruses and quartets and currently also sings in a BHS Top-Ten International Seniors quartet, RE-ROUTED, though we have no idea why.

John Dudrow

JOHN DUDROW alternates singing bass or lead, depending upon Dave’s whims.  This “bi-sectionality’ has given him many opportunities to sing with other quartets over his 20 years of quarteting, where he has tried to recreate the energy of the BLEND but without much success.  And now he is trying his hand at baritone in a Top 5 district quartet called TOP SHELF.   John has sung with and/or served the Singing Buckeyes as an officer for many years and his accomplishments were recognized in 2003 when he was selected as the Singing Buckeyes Barbershopper of the Year.  John has a very interesting and diverse educational background, has a couple of degrees, and is now working as a licensed physical therapist assistant at Grant Hospital.  He is happily married to a wonderful (and extremely understanding and tolerant) Sweet Adeline named Maggie.

Dave Kindinger

DAVE KINDINGER can’t decide whether he wants to sing lead or bass with the Blend, so they humor him and let him sing both (sometimes both in one song!)  Dave prepared to sing with Buckeye Blend by first singing with the 1994 International Champion Quartet, JOKER’S WILD!  He also proudly medaled several times with BHS Seniors quartet, SPOTLIGHT and currently competes at the International level with MIC’D UP! Dave also actively sings with the Buckeye Chapter, where he has been a member for over 40 years, and has held many offices.  He was named Buckeye Barbershopper of the Year in 1981 and has also been elected to the Singing Buckeyes Hall of Fame.  Dave has been blessed to be married to Pam (a/k/a St. Pam) for over 40 years.  Dave RETIRED recently as an elementary school principal, completing a 35 year career in education.

Larry Wolfe

LARRY WOLFE comes to Buckeye Blend after an exhaustive search for a successor to founding member, Lionell Lyle. Turns out it’s not easy finding a baritone who can fill Lionell’s shoes and put up with Dave. Larry began his illustrious barbershop career in Raleigh, NC during the mid-80s (yeah, he’s no spring chicken) singing with International Medalist chorus Research Triangle Park. Since moving to Columbus he’s sung, and served in numerous chapter offices, with both the Singing Buckeyes and The Alliance. He shares his love of music with wife Cari, a former Sweet Adeline, and daughter Rebecca, an aspiring musical theater performer in NYC . During the day you can find Larry in front of the computer as database programmer for the American Jersey Cattle Association. Cows have data? Go figure. Larry is looking forward to taking THE BLEND to additional heights of musical excellence. Don’t hold your breath…….
